She Takes The Cake or Nonpareils???
Whether you’re a client we’ve come to love over the years, or a new found fan of the cupcake, Jen Comfort is the girl behind the sweets around here. It seems like ages ago that She Takes The Cake was born out of Jen’s passion to create unique and delicious cakes and edible creations using an arts background and desire to soak up all info possible on recipes and sugar decorating techniques. That passion has grown and so has the need to grow the company in ways that best fit this ever-changing world of sugar.
Nonpareils, Ltd. was formed in May of 2010 to reflect those changes. New name, new structure, new focus. At the end of July, 2011, the 2 year old showroom in Manlius closed but our kitchen is still up and running so don’t fret! Jen creates your custom cakes by appointment only at this time, and cupcakes are available by order for delivery or available at locations you can find here on the site or via your favorite social media outlet. Our one of a kind cupcake cart can be seen around Syracuse and beyond, and at your private events! Call for info on scheduling this fun alternative to regular cake, it will leave your guests talking!
